I CANNOT EXPRESS HOW UNHAPPY I WAS WITH THIS SUBSCRIPTION!!! I GOT HTE SAME BLUE SHIRT 3 TIMES, AND NEVER HAVE MY SETS MATCHED. I JUST RECEIVED YET ANOTHER BLUE SHIRT WITH PURPLE UNDERWEAR AND RED CHRISTMAS LOOKING SOCKS.. THEY LEAD YOU TO BELIEVE HTAT YOU ARE GETTING COORDIATING SETS, THEY LIE!! I WOULD NEVER BUY THIS AS A GIFT AGAIN. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTING AND THE PACKAGES DIDNT COME ON A CONSISTENT BASIS.. AGHH......
Items are high quality but I signed up on February for my subscription and didn’t receive anything until may.
I never received my February and March boxes. I was billed for an additional six months in February, though. I reached out through all their platforms and still have not heard back from anyone.

Never received the box for my husband for Christmas, nor got any response back from the seller. I wish to have a refund. Very disappointing.
Never received order & have not been contacted as to why. I have no other option than to cancel my order. This was to be a Christmas gift for my grandson, I have already bought something else. Thank you

I tried to cancel this subscription, no responce from anyone & have not received any refund. In January there were 2 shipments made, I presume for Jan & Feb. I thought fine, product seems quailty & the gift receiver was very happy. I thought that I would not purse canceling this subscription. Those have been the only 2 shipments made, I paid this subscription up front & in full, $192.50 & only received 2 shipments. Can someone please contact me.
I'm really disappointed with the customer service for this. I paid for 6 months and was sent 2 boxes for the first month, which were the same. I've contacted customer service for both Cratejoy and the seller multiple times with no answers and now I've ended up paying 6 months for 5 different boxes. I wouldn't use this subscription service again. The products are nice, but I know there are other companies out that actually care about their customers.
I have ordered basic for man previously it was perfect, this time I wanted XL shirt and large underwear but this seems impossible to achieve. We keep receiving XXL Shirts. I have emailed basic man 3 times, received the email saying you should get a reply in 2-3 business days, never received anything else. The phone number is unavailable. So disappointed.
Order this for somebody several States away. When finally shipped, the wrong sizes were sent. Contacted customer service no reply! Contacted 2 more times no reply. Contacted Cratejoy who finally was able to get the company to reply. Reissued new sizes. I sent an additional email no reply. Customer service is not responsive and will not respond to any issues problems or complaints. Warning!
I received the wrong size in both items shipped and have yet to hear back from customer support after it's been more than 3 full business days.
Literally sent the wrong size 3 boxes in a row and ignored 5 emails, spread out within 2 months, to ask for a correction. Sent this basic 4 XL black t-shirts despite us saying XL was too big. They’re taking “basic” way too far - I mean, if this was a black T-shirt subscription box then cool, but they definitely pretend to offer more than black t-shirts. Oh, and they definitely pretend to offer more than one size so not sure why we got 4 identical black XL shirts in a row. Worst part is customer service straight up ignores you. Would never recommend this box to anyone, ever.
I ordered this as a gift for my husband. He loves the boxer briefs and the soft feel of the t-shirts. The socks run a little small/tight for him. My one complaint is regarding the curation of the shirts. He has received duplicate colors two separate times out of the four months he's been subscribed. I know the subscription box is called "Basic" but he'd prefer not to have two plain black t-shirts two months in a row along with two of the exact same blue shirts two months in a row as well. The fitted black shirt also shrunk and is now small for him, even after the company sent a larger size than requested (XL for a L subscription). So once this month's box arrives, he'll have two too-small black t-shirts.
I preordered 3 months and only received 1. Tried to contact customer service several times with no response. After almost 2 months from the initial send I got an email today they were sending another shipment and the shirt is the one they already sent.
I love this deal. The products are great and the color combos are perfect with each other
Very comfortable clothes. Just wish that for the winter months the shirts were long sleeved.
Just cancelled my subscription after about 3 years. Really liked this at the start, and looked forward to getting my monthly box. Over the past year and half the shirts have changed to be stretchy-er and ill-fitting, they used to be well constructed. Also the shirts used to vary between crew neck, v neck and fitted. The shirts, underwear, and socks used to kind of match and be a theme. Recently, it seems that they just cycle through the same 6 shirts and match it up with whatever leftover stock in underwear and socks they have laying around the warehouse. Seems like they are just depleting stock before going out of business. I tried to reach out multiple times to ask if this lack of inspiration was due to the pandemic and supply/shipping issues, but never got a response - which is too bad because previously their customer service was great - instant responses and dealt with issues right away. Too bad because I really wanted to keep going with this, but I don't feel like giving my money on autopilot to a company that doesn't seem to care.
It’s good stuff, but I just got a repeat of my first box.

I purchased the Basic Man gift box for my husband. The products are okay, for the price. We live in Texas and they kept sending thick socks throughout the year. I canceled the subscription in June 2021, and I keep getting the packages. I just received another one today, but USPS left a note since I wasn’t at home to sign for it. It will be refused. Please stop sending the packages.

I was subscribed to Basic Man for 8 months. I really loved all of the products - the boxer briefs, tshirts, and socks are comfy and sometimes in colors I wouldn't pick for myself which was fun. BUT the shipping is all over the place. Sometimes I would get my items right on time after being charged and sometimes I wouldn't get my items until almost the end of the month, when It was time to be charged again. Currently, I've paid for April and still haven't gotten those items; I did get an email saying the new items were late getting to the warehouse but that was almost 2 weeks ago and I've already been charged for May. So I have cancelled my subscription. That being said, I've purchased separate items from their store, and those items have shipped pretty fast. If you want to try out the items before you commit to the subscription, I would order them from their store and proceed with caution with the subscription due to its rollercoaster shipping,
I would recommend this box to an enemy.
It's perfect for the person in your life that you want to curse with unexpected credit card charges, shirts that stretch out in the wash even if you follow the care instructions, and literally the worst customer service I've ever had, and I've applied for Medicaid. Twice. In Michigan.
And who burns through a pair of underwear every month anyway?
Basic is basic, but good!
Very simple straightforward subscription with good quality threads. I like my socks, and love my tee- underwear is medium which is a little big but excited for the next month’s package to arrive!
My husband loves this subscription! The shirts are so amazingly soft. He loves how the briefs are so breathable. And the socks are wicking so his feet stay dry all day. Over all great experience. Also the customer service is outstanding. They make sure there customers are taken care of and are happy.
